What inspired you to start your business? How did your business get started?
Homewatch Caregivers was started by Peter and Judy Yaffe 13 years ago in West Springfield. They also have offices in Northampton and Greenfield. They were inspired to start this business after seeing their own parents’ age in place with care and assistance in their homes. Those very positive experiences segued into thoughtful consideration of a viable business that would provide elders with the care they deserved with dignity in a home environment.
Tell us a little bit about your business.
Our business provides elders with professional caregivers, a social worker, a nurse when needed, a liaison that works on the clients behalf and office staff that caters to the needs of the individual client.
What is your favorite thing to do in your business?
Getting out into the community and meeting people in all walks of life.
If nothing else, what is the one piece of information you want someone to know about your business?
We provide our clients with a safe environment to be as independent as possible.
What is the one piece of business advice you would like to share?
Make sure clients are satisfied and happy with your services-always try to make it right.
