Small Business

A whopping 50 percent of GNCC’s investors are solopreneurs or have fewer than five employees. Small business is the little engine that could. And does! When you join the GNCC, the benefits are both tangible and intangible, personal and professional. Whatever type of business you have, joining the GNCC will create new opportunities for you and your business.
Below are just some of the ways that the GNCC supports small businesses.

Ruth Griggs, Principal at RC Communications and GNCC investor since 2011 talks about how joining the GNCC plugged her into the community quickly and efficiently.

Large Business

Being a member of the GNCC says a lot about your business. It puts you in the company of a community of businesses who care about our quality of life and work hard to enhance the well being of our area, for everyone.

Many of our large business members don’t need help from the GNCC to find their customers, but invest in the GNCC for some of the reasons below. That said, below are some of the ways that the GNCC supports large businesses.

Downtown Business

Nearly a third of GNCC members have a Downtown Northampton business address and count on local residents as their clients and customers.

Many also rely on business from people who are visiting our area, whether they’re 20 miles away or 50+ miles away. The GNCC works closely with our downtown business community to ensure our downtown’s success and vitality.

Hospitality Business

A third of Chamber members rely on business from people who are visiting our area, whether they’re 20 miles away or 50+ miles away.

The Chamber promotes our members in the hospitality industry through multiple marketing channels that reach customers in our key feeder markets as well as group and international travelers.

Below are just some of the ways that the Chamber supports hospitality businesses. It’s the tip of the iceberg.

Nonprofits

The GNCC is committed to supporting non-profit organizations. It’s part of our mission.

The GNCC’s ability to enhance the well-being of the Northampton area depends on strong relationships with organizations like yours that directly impact our community’s success.
