What inspired you to start your business? How did your business get started?
I have had retail businesses in NYC and eastern Mass. I love creating spaces that are not only aestetically pleasing, with thoughtfully curated products that inspire, but spaces that communicate we are putting forth our best on behalf of a town and people we value.
Tell us a little bit about your business.
Thelo Home and Modern Wellness is a “whole life” experience consisting of finely curated furniture, accessories and art, with styling and interior design services. In a unique twist, the lower level space hosts an infrared sauna sanctuary with products that promote a healthy lifestyle.
What is your favorite thing to do in your business?
I’m crazy about the whole thing! Can’t get enough of talking about a great piece of furniture, art, or accessory. Even more rewarding, opening the door to one of our private sauna rooms, and hearing someone say, “wow!” then bringing them an Iconica juice after their session.
If nothing else, what is the one piece of information you want someone to know about your business?
We are committed to, and strongly believe that there is no separation between home, body and mind when it comes to living well. All elements of your life must be thoughtfully tended to.
What is the one piece of business advice you would like to share?
Take the risk! Put forth the absolute best and long to be tangled up in every fiber of the town, with the hope that you have just changed everything for the better, for a very long time. It’s our responsibility to make downtown, main street, our city, current, interesting, flavorful, sophisticated… even enviable!
