What inspired you to start your business? How did your business get started?
I was following my dream, to be able to help people.
Slowly, over the years I had lost touch with that piece of who I was.
After 38 years in the travel industry, the vehicle I wanted to use was travel and consulting. Working closely with customers on all levels and making sure that they were heard and appreciated. No ideas or possibilities ever turned away.
The business was started by talking and connecting with people. Ideas were presented to clients and clients presented ideas to me. The business evolved in a beautiful way, that I could never have even imagined. One thing leading to another – and all the time – keeping my vision of helping and connecting with people to build the circle.
Tell us a little bit about your business.
The business began providing services centered around travel. Listening to customers and giving them exactly what they need. We live in an environment where we are often met with online services, and a lack of personal contact. My business is me, doing what I do best. Connecting with people to provide whatever they need. Curating unique experiences to groups and individuals, companies and nonprofits, incentive trips, fundraisers, educational opportunities to name a few. There are no barriers. Creativity is what I enjoy. Connecting with people – to be sure that every step of the way – they feel, and know that their needs are being met. I have also had the privilege of helping businesses accomplish and organize what they don’t have them or manpower to accomplish on their own. Sometimes just a fresh set of eyes and new ideas can jump start an entire project. It’s been a very fulfilling opportunity for me and for that I am grateful.
What is your favorite thing to do in your business?
I am living my dream and my favorite part of what I do, is the interaction that I experience with the people that I daily come in contact with. New and old friends, together – making things happen, whatever that looks like, in an open & honest environment of mutual understanding and support.
If nothing else, what is the one piece of information you want someone to know about your business?
I am open to any new ideas on how we can work together. This business began with travel as the vehicle to help people, but it has evolved in ways I would never have imagined!! Weybrew Group has many faces and I am excited about what the future holds in store. With people connecting on a personal level – anything is possible.
What is the one piece of business advice you would like to share?
Follow your dream and don’t ever waiver from your beliefs. The truth and a love for what you do and who you do it with will lead you to a bright and wonderful future. Trust yourself and you can not fail.
