What inspired you to start your business? How did your business get started?
When my boss of ten years moved to another position, I decided to strike out on my own. In 1998, I started with just three local clients and I can truly say I love being self-employed. I’m grateful that I have many repeat clients.

I work with medical practices and hospitals that employ physicians providing coding reviews and education.
What is your favorite thing to do in your business?
Speak at conferences.
If nothing else, what is the one piece of information you want someone to know about your business?
I simplify complex coding for medical practices, protecting their revenue and ensuring compliance with government rules.
What is the one piece of business advice you would like to share?
Writing for trade journals and speaking at conferences are multiplier events for entrepreneurs. Both increase visibility, validity and referrals.
